New HILO STARTER program — a first of its kind in the Tenant Experience space
Toronto – October 7, 2022 – HILO has launched their leading Workplace Engagement Platform at the Kanata North Technology Park in collaboration with the Kanata North Business Association (KNBA) and Hub350. Using their newly released HILO STARTER program, this partnership will see HILO become the digital gateway to connect 10,000,000 square feet of office buildings, and other community stakeholders including local businesses and educational institutions, to the 30,000 employees who make Canada’s largest technology park their home.
The exclusive HILO STARTER program made this large scale implementation possible by offering building partners the opportunity to evolve their workplace engagement strategy to include a single-source technology solution to better connect to their customers (tenants), at ZERO initial cost.
The Kanata North Technology Park is home to over 540 companies, representing multiple technology sectors. With a mission to create a connected community with mixed uses, next generation technology and a vibrant culture of collaboration, the opportunities for innovation will inspire a shared path forward in Kanata North’s endeavors to be a world-class destination for technology.
“The opportunity to bring the HILO STARTER program—a first of its kind in the Tenant Experience space—to this dynamic community is an incredible opportunity to showcase our unique platform approach. Through a single platform solution we have already been able to launch across 75 buildings, ensuring that price is not a barrier to helping building partners support their tenants and provide access to all that they need to make where they work easier and better” said David Abrams, Co-founder and CEO of HILO. “This is just the beginning and a major step towards realizing our vision to become the largest platform of connected people in buildings in the world”.
“HILO is just one of the great examples of the diverse and innovative technologies being developed and implemented in Kanata North. Working together with our partners and stakeholders, the team at HILO is contributing to the vibrant culture of collaboration across Canada’s largest tech hub” said Jamie Petten, Executive Director of the Kanata North Business Association. “We are looking forward to seeing HILO’s continued deployment and expansion as we build towards our shared vision of a complete and connected innovation community here in the Nation’s capital.”
Building owners, operators, and employers have to work harder than ever before to make their workplaces accessible and desirable. Workplace Engagement solutions that support the hybrid workforce can connect people to buildings and the surrounding community no matter where they are, and have become a major differentiator as buildings compete to ensure the physical workplace remains relevant.
