River Centre Fitness Center

  • The Fitness Center will be locked at all times. Employees will have access to the Fitness Center with their key card. 
  • The Fitness Center hours have changed from 6:00am to 9:00pm Monday to Friday.
  • The Building will be unlocked from 7:30am to 6:00pm. After 6:00pm anyone wanting to use the Fitness Center will have to use their key fob to enter into the building as well as access the Fitness Center.

FITNESS CENTER RULES AND REGULATIONS

All Employees must comply with the following rules and regulations. These rules are not meant to be all-inclusive, must abide by both the letter and the spirit of the rules and regulations and at all times attempt to behave in a civil and business-like manner during their use of the Fitness Center:

  1. Operating hours of the Fitness Center shall be posted in the Fitness Center and are subject to change at the sole discretion of Paramount Realty.

  2. Only authorized Fitness Center Employees may be admitted to the Fitness Center. Employees shall not prop open the door to the Fitness Center. Any Employee that lends his or her Fitness Center key card to a non-Employee, admits a non-Employee to the facility or fails to report a non-Employee present in the facility to building management will have their Fitness Center privileges revoked.

  3. No smoking is permitted in the Fitness Center.

  4. Paramount Realty is not responsible for providing toiletries, towels, or any other personal items for use in the Fitness Center.

  5. The volume of radio, TV, and other personal electronic devices must be kept at a respectful level at all times. Employees are required to be considerate of other Employees’ rights to undisturbed use of the facility.

  6. Employee agrees to behave in a civil and business-like manner during its use of the shower facilities in the Fitness Center. Employee’s Name must be appropriately attired at all times when walking to and from the shower facilities and in no event shall Employee’s may walk through any common areas of the Building in a towel or robe. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated by Paramount Realty in connection with the use of the Fitness Center. Any and Associates Employee who feels that they have been subjected to sexual harassment of any kind in connection with their use of the Fitness Center must immediately advise the Building Manager of the alleged harassment. Sexual harassment includes but is not limited to (a) unwelcome sexual advances, (b) verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature, and (c) the display of sexually explicit pictures, drawings or other material of a sexual nature. In response to any complaint of sexual harassment stemming from use of the Fitness Center, Paramount Realty will conduct a thorough investigation of the incident. Any Employee and Associates Employee that fails to cooperate in Paramount Realty’s conduct of such an investigation will be subject to having their Fitness Center privileges revoked. If any Employee is found to have committed an act of sexual harassment, he or she will also be subject to having their Fitness Center privileges revoked.

  7. Any Employee who feels that they have been subjected to any act of harassment or discrimination based on race, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other category protected by applicable law in connection with their use of the Fitness Center should follow the same complaint procedure set forth in Paragraph 6 above. Paramount Realty will likewise follow the same investigation process and procedures as set forth in Paragraph 6 above, and any Employee that fails to cooperate in Paramount Realty’s investigation will be subject to having their Fitness Center privileges revoked. Similarly, if any Employee is found to have committed an act of impermissible harassment or discrimination, then he or she will also be subject to having their Fitness Center privileges revoked.

  8. Employees must dress appropriately for the use of a common area Fitness Center. Paramount Realty reserves the right to direct Employees to change clothing that is not appropriate in the discretion of building management.

  9. When Employees are not actively using the Fitness Center, they may not leave any personal items including clothing in lockers, and locks may also not be left on lockers. Paramount Realty reserves the right to remove locks and any items left in lockers when the Employee to whom they belong is not actively using the Fitness Center. Paramount Realty assumes no responsibility whatsoever for Employee personal items left behind in the Fitness Center. Any personal items that are not claimed by Employee at the end of each week shall be discarded.

  10. Employees should have no expectation of privacy in their use of the Fitness Center lockers. Paramount Realty reserves the right to search the lockers in the Fitness Center at any time.

  11. Employees are expected to use the Fitness Center equipment for its intended purpose and in the manner in which it is intended to be used. Any Employee that is unsure how to use a particular piece of equipment should not use it until becoming familiar with the proper manner of using it.

  12. Use of the Fitness Center is for authorized current employees of Tenant. Any Employee whose employment is terminated by Tenant will immediately lose Fitness Center privileges in the Fitness Center.
 
Paramount Realty reserves the right to add, change or delete any of these Rules and Regulations of any time at its sole discretion.

FITNESS CENTER WAIVER OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT

  1. Employee’s use of the Fitness Center is a privilege available to current employees of Tenant. The privilege can be granted and revoked by Paramount Realty Services, LLC at its sole discretion at any time, with or without cause or notice. If employment is terminated by Tenant, Employee will immediately lose its Fitness Center privilege.

  2. Employee agrees to abide by all rules and regulations of the Fitness Center.

  3. Employee recognizes that Paramount Realty Services, LLC provides no supervision or maintenance of the Fitness Center whatsoever. As a result, Employee knowingly assumes full risk and responsibility for its own personal health and safety in regard to Employee’s use of the Fitness Center and its equipment. Employee will make all efforts to become informed of the proper use of all equipment in the Fitness Center and agrees not to use any equipment with which he/she is unfamiliar. Employee agrees to immediately advise Paramount Realty Services, LLC building management of any non-working fixture or unsafe condition that it observes in the Fitness Center.

  4. Paramount Realty Services, LLC assumes no responsibility whatsoever for Employee’s personal health, safety or welfare in its use of the Fitness Center.

  5. The Employee hereby releases Paramount Realty Services, LLC from any responsibility, liabilities, demands, or claims of any kind arising out the Employee’s use of the Fitness Center regardless of cause.
