EARTHDAY.ORG, the global organizer of Earth Day, announced that the theme for Earth Day 2023 will be Invest in Our Planet. Earth Day is focused on accelerating solutions to combat our greatest threat, climate change, and to activate everyone – governments, citizens, and businesses – to do their part. Everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable. Here are 52 actions and tips that your building community can take to make a difference, not just today but every day of the year.

Earth Month is a great opportunity to highlight local businesses in the community that are creating goods and services while thinking about their impact on the environment. Encourage tenants and their networks to shop locally and learn more about these businesses. To celebrate Earth Day, host a contest by inviting tenants to share how they are taking action for the chance to win a gift basket from a local retailer. Who doesn’t love a chance to win while making a difference?
